Brittani Headshot

Dr. Brittani Hartshorn earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Columbia University. Prior to earning her Doctorate, she attended the University of Florida graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Applied Physiology and Kinesiology. Brittani grew up an hour north of New York City, where she competed as an All-American gymnast, which sparked her early interest in physical therapy.

After graduating from Columbia, Brittani began her career in Greenville, South Carolina, where she gained diverse experience in various physical therapy settings, including inpatient rehabilitation, acute care, and outpatient orthopedics. Her passion for outpatient orthopedics led her to return to New York City, where she continued her professional growth in this area. Following a year of practice in general outpatient orthopedics in NYC, Brittani is thrilled to join this team of talented clinicians.

Brittani’s extensive background as an athlete and her experience in multiple physical therapy settings provide her with a unique perspective on the challenges her patients face. This experience fuels her commitment to personalized care, ensuring that each treatment plan is tailored to the individual’s specific needs and goals. Whether working with athletes recovering from injuries or seniors aiming to maintain their independence, Brittani is dedicated to educating her patients about their conditions and involving them actively in their recovery.

Outside of her professional life, Brittani enjoys exploring New York City’s restaurants and coffee shops. She stays active by taking Orange Theory classes and taking long walks in Central Park with her dog and husband.
