Nehal Gandhi, PT
Nehal Gandhi, PT
As a pelvic health physical therapist, Nehal treats a wide range of conditions affecting people of all genders. Her areas of expertise include pelvic pain, bladder and bowel dysfunction, sexual health concerns, pregnancy and postpartum rehabilitation, labor and birth preparation, male pelvic health, perimenopause and menopause-related changes, and rehabilitation following abdominal, pelvic, and gender-affirming surgeries. Recognizing the close relationship between the pelvic floor and the rest of the body, she also incorporates an understanding of the hips, low back, core, posture, and movement patterns to help patients return to the activities that matter most to them.
Nehal practices through a biopsychosocial lens, recognizing that symptoms are influenced by physical, emotional, lifestyle, and social factors. She strives to create a supportive, judgment-free environment where patients feel heard, empowered, and comfortable sharing their experiences. Through education, individualized treatment, and collaborative goal setting, she helps patients build confidence, improve body awareness, and take an active role in their recovery. She also values working closely with referring providers and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive, patient-centered care.
Outside of clinical practice, Nehal is a certified yoga instructor, clinical instructor for physical therapy students, and Teaching Assistant with the Herman & Wallace Pelvic Rehabilitation Institute. She is currently completing additional advanced coursework and continuing education in pelvic health rehabilitation to further enhance the care she provides.
Nehal is deeply grateful for the trust her patients place in her. Their resilience and stories inspire her commitment to lifelong learning and to providing compassionate, evidence-informed care for every person she serves.
