Andrea earned her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Columbia University. She is the Director of Women’s Health at Spring Forward Physical Therapy. Previously, Andrea has worked in both Boston and in NYC in both sports medicine and pelvic floor muscle rehabilitation.  She has a passion for treating women through pregnancy and post- partum, men and women with pelvic pain, conservative management of pelvic organ prolapse, men and women with bowel dysfunction, men post prostatectomy, and helping people of all ages, genders and levels achieve their highest function possible. Andrea has received her training through the Herman and Wallace Pelvic Rehabilitation Institute and is a certified pelvic rehabilitation practitioner (PRPC) through Herman and Wallace which requires multiple years of experience to achieve.  She also has experience treating various orthopedic issues such as hip pain, foot pain, shoulder pain, and neck pain.

She approaches physical therapy as a solution to empower her patients to help take control of their own healing and emphasizes a team relationship. Andrea also earned her BS in Exercise Physiology from the University of Miami in Coral Gables, FL, where she was a part of the division 1 ACC cross country team for four years. She has experience with coaching runners, in particular, middle and high school athletes. She is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association’s Sections on Women’s Health and has a passion for writing educational blogs for patients and empowering people with knowledge about preventative healthcare. Her publications include a co author of the book chapter entitled Adjunct Modalities for Physical Therapy in Healing in Urology Clinical Guidebook to Herbal and Alternative Therapies. She has given multiple talks about pelvic health around NYC and continues to strive to spread her enthusiasm about preventative measures men and women can take to optimize their pelvic health through the lifespan.
